Good to know
Accessibility
Our public areas on the ground floor are accessible with few barriers – including Restaurant Hirsch, the Dorfstube and our Stuben. A lift provides access to all floors; an accessible toilet can also be reached by lift.
Our hotel rooms are not fully accessible. One of our double rooms is partially accessible and suitable for guests with limited mobility. The bathroom has a shower with a low step, but not a level-access shower.
If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking. We will be happy to advise you personally and help you find the room and options best suited to your stay.
Allergies, food intolerances & special dietary requirements
For guests with allergies, we offer allergy-friendly rooms (including allergy-friendly bed linen): Bolberg, Kornberg, Wiesenberg and Himmelberg. Please let us know about any food intolerances or special dietary requirements – preferably before your arrival – by email or telephone. Your meals will then be prepared accordingly.
Arrival by bicycle or e-bike
If you arrive with your own bicycle or e-bike, you can store it safely in our hotel bicycle garage.
Important: For insurance reasons, e-bike batteries may not be charged inside the hotel or in your room. We will be happy to charge the battery for you.
Arrival/departure
Your room will be ready from around 3 pm. Please depart by no later than 11 am.
If you arrive after 10 pm, please call us at +49 7128 9291-0.
Cancellations
Cancellations are only valid if they have been made in writing and confirmed by the hotel in writing. Cancellations are free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.
Please understand that if you cancel less than 3 days before your arrival date, depart early or do not make use of booked services, the following charges will apply:
Individual bookings
- Cancellations made up to 3 days before your planned date of arrival: free of charge
- Cancellations made by 6 pm on the 3rd day before your planned date of arrival: 40% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6 pm on the 2nd day before your planned date of arrival: 60% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6 pm on the day before your planned date of arrival: 80% of the booked service
Group bookings (4 rooms or more)
- Cancellations made up to 1 month before your planned date of arrival: free of charge
- Cancellations made by 6 pm between the 29th and 14th day before your planned date of arrival: 40% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6 pm between the 13th and 2nd day before your planned date of arrival: 60% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6 pm on the day before your planned date of arrival: 80% of the booked service
Children
Children up to 2 years of age sleep in their parents’ room free of charge (in a baby cot or extra bed). For children aged 3 and older, we charge €10.00 per day for breakfast. Children aged 6 and older staying in their parents’ room in an extra bed are charged €50.00 per day.
Dinner
Please make your reservation early for both Restaurant Hirsch and our Stuben.
Please arrive at Restaurant Hirsch no later than 7:30 pm.
Dogs
You are welcome to bring your dog by prior arrangement only (dogs are not permitted in Restaurant Hirsch or the wellness area). Please understand that only certain rooms (Pfaffenberg, Kobel, Rossberg, Wiesäcker and Wiesenberg) can be booked when travelling with a dog. As the dog owner, you are liable for any damage to furniture or other items. We charge €15.00 per day for room cleaning. Please bring a blanket, food bowl and food for your four-legged friend.
Electric vehicle charging station
Since 2022, Romantik® Hotel | Restaurant Hirsch has offered a 22 kW charging station for electric vehicles. Hotel and restaurant guests can charge their electric vehicles here. Registration and payment are handled at reception.
Minimum stay
A minimum stay of 2 nights applies at weekends and 3 nights on public holidays. The minimum stay does not apply on dates featuring one of our culinary events.
Non-smoking hotel
All of our rooms and suites are non-smoking. The entire hotel is a non-smoking area.
Parking
Free parking is available for our guests around the hotel.
Payment options
Romantik® Hotel | Restaurant Hirsch accepts the following payment methods:

- Advance payment by bank transfer
- Girocard/debit card
- Credit card (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX)
Rates
Rates are per room for one overnight stay and include our generous breakfast buffet.
The quoted rates for adults and children are per person per day and include 7%/19% VAT. The visitor’s tax is not included and will be charged on site (€1.00 per person aged 16 and over per day).
Reservation
Your reservation is valid once it has been submitted to us in writing by letter, fax or email and confirmed by us in writing.
We cannot guarantee specific rooms or floors, but we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Arrival and departure during hotel closure periods: No arrivals are possible on the day before a closure period begins. Guests must depart no later than the first day of the closure period. The next arrival is possible on the day after the final closure day.
Trip cancellation insurance
Even with the best-laid plans, it may sometimes be necessary to cancel a holiday or cut your stay short. We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation and interruption insurance. You can take out HanseMerkur cancellation insurance here.
Wi-Fi
As a Hirsch guest, you have free access to Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. You will receive the password when you check in at reception.
